G. Christopher Orton

Chris is a life-long resident of North East, Pennsylvania. In fact, his family has lived on the same farm since 1815.  With over 20 years of practicing law in this area, Chris is a true expert in the field.

Over the course of his career, Chris has worked in-house with the corporate real estate departments, including AutoZone, Inc.and Advance Auto Parts. He handles all contracts and acquisition of store sites, both with sellers and developers. He also serves as the Assistant General Counsel of United Refining Company, handling real estate, contracts, litigation, and employment matters.

Chris regularly handles both residential and commercial real estate transactions, while assisting clients with title matters. He has expert experience in representing clients in commercial lending transactions in addition to a variety of other financing transactions.

IIn addition to his experience in real estate matters, Chris also has comprehensive experience and routinely represents clients across various practice areas including business transactions, business formation, civil litigation, employment law, landlord/tenant law and contracts, corporate and regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Chris has attended numerous unemployment compensation hearings representing employers and employees alike and has represented unemployment compensation clients successfully before the UC Board of Appeals.

Leigh Ann Orton

Leigh Ann graduated summa cum laude from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in 1992. She earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and graduated cum laude from the University of Memphis in 1995.

With over 20 years of experience, Leigh Ann concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, real estate and family law matters. She routinely prepares wills, financial and health care powers of attorney, and living wills. She also guides clients through the difficult process of administering the estate of a deceased loved one. Leigh Ann has written and edited several articles in connection with elder law and estate planning issues. She has also presented various seminars on family law and elder law issues. Leigh Ann represents both buyers and sellers of real estate property and regularly prepares contracts, leases and deeds. Leigh Ann has successfully litigated and received favorable rulings in numerous family law matters. She is experienced in representing clients in the areas of divorce, separation, adoption, support, child custody, prenuptial and post nuptial agreements. She is also collaboratively trained in family law matters.

Leigh Ann is actively involved in the Erie County Bar Association and various professional organizations throughout the North East community. Leigh Ann is honored to have been selected as the North East News Journal Readers’ Choice “Best Attorney” in 2012, 2013 and 2017.
